At St. Frances of Rome, we believe strongly in providing Catholic Education to your children to prepare them for life. To that end, we make it as affordable as possible by providing parents with many resources to help them with their tuition payments.
Our parish community, St. Mary Frances of The Five Wounds, provides $1,000 tuition assistance from the start, without this assistance, tuition would be $7,211 per student. In addition to this our financial aid office provides updates and information regarding scholarships to families regularly. We partner with families to provide the best education for their children.

At St. Frances of Rome School, we have partnered with FACTS Management to process tuition payments. The company will process the payments automatically from a banking account or a debit/credit card.
Please note that there is an additional 3% service fee if using a debit/credit card.
FACTS allows families to set up annual, bi-annually, monthly, biweekly, or weekly payments.
To make adjustments to your payment schedule, please contact the Tuition Coordinator via email at jhuizar@sfr-school.org
If a payment returns, FACTS will automatically add a $30 Return Payment Fee to the family's FACTS account.
The Tuition Coordinator will be in contact with families regarding their missed payment(s). Families will have up to one week to make the necessary arrangements to fulfill their past-due balance and return payment fee(s). If the amount is not fulfilled by then, an interruption of attendance may take place for the students. We appreciate all the efforts and sacrifices families make to provide quality education for the students.
To help families, St. Mary Frances of the Five Wounds gives a $1,000 tuition discount from the start. The tuition on the form has this parish assistance already applied. We recognize that some families will require further assistance to be able to give their children the best education by enrolling them in our school. When a family registers their child, they are asked to fill out financial information in FACTS. The FACTS management system helps us determine how much financial aid a family may need.
There is both before-school and after-school care available for your child. Before-school care begins at 7 am and after-school care is available from 2:40 pm until 6 pm. Costs are as follows:

Update: For the 2022-2023 school year, the State of Illinois is providing free lunch to all students, including students attending a private school such as St. Frances of Rome School.
Students may bring lunches made from home to the school. Parents cannot bring lunches to the students during the day. If a homemade lunch is forgotten, the school will provide the student with a free lunch this school year.
Fundraising events are no longer a requirement for families. However, in order to provide the best education at an affordable price, we need the help of parents to raise funds for the school. We encourage families to participate in the following fundraising events:
Yes, as the education and formation of St. Frances of Rome is the work of parents, teachers, staff, and the parish community, we require that each family give 15 hours of their time helping with school and/or parish events. Any hour not completed will be an additional fee that the parents must pay by May 2023. This fee will be added to families FACTS account under PCP.
Yes, parents that would like to help as volunteers at school and/or parish events must complete all the necessary requirements before the event. To have volunteer hours count towards PCP the volunteer must be compliant and approved by the Site Administrator. These requirements are implemented by the Archdiocese of Chicago for the safety of the student and volunteers.

Yes, students in grades K-8 must wear appropriate uniforms and shoes. Please view the requirements here.
