SFR Home & School Ambassador
The St. Frances of Rome Home and School Ambassadors is a non-profit parent organization. All parents/guardians, teachers and staff of St. Frances of Rome are members of the HSA. The goals of the HSA are: to organize and promote fundraising events to support the needs of the school not included in the general budget; to organize activities/ events that provide opportunities for families to socialize; to promote open communication between parents, teachers and staff. We provide opportunities throughout the year to complete your volunteer hours.
Volunteer Guidelines
St. Frances of Rome requires parents and family members to volunteer for various opportunities throughout the year, including field trips, fundraising events and after-school activities.
In order to volunteer, the following requirements from the Archdiocese must be met before participating in any volunteer events.
All questions, certificates, and forms must be forwarded to Ms. Huizar at jhuizar@sfr-school.org. Parent volunteer is necessary for all families who wish to complete their PCP hours (a total of 15 hours) before May annually. Any hour(s) not completed will be charged to their FACTS account ($15 per hour.)

Virtus Training
Virtus Training Training sessions are assigned virtually through Virtus: · Returning families or Existing Accounts: “Keeping the Promise Alive” · New Families & Accounts: “Protecting God’s Children." Through Virtus you will also complete the following items: – Criminal Background Check – Sign the Arch. Standards of Behavior – Sign the Declarations page
